Dr. Amir Shirmohammad is a board-certified family physician, who is a co-founder of MyDoc Concierge of Tampa Bay located in Trinity, Florida. He has built an impressive reputation in the Tampa Bay area with hard work, dedication, compassion, detail-mindedness, community service and “old-fashioned” values of a family doctor.
He cares for many recognizable individuals in and out of the Tampa Bay area. They sacrifice the time and long distances to seek him out in Trinity, Florida. Dr. Shirmohammad prides himself on providing care that is compassionate, customized to each patient, loaded with prevention, and includes the latest gold-standard of medical care. “I care for my patients the way I would want my loved ones to be cared for,” Dr. Shirmohammad says. “Delivering unrushed, top quality medical care from an individual that cares about my health, how I’m feeling, how my family is doing, and even how my day is going is what makes Dr. Shirmohammad the best!” states one patient who travels to Florida be a part of Dr. Shirmohammad’s practice.
Dr. Shirmohammad served as a medical director of a 5-star nursing and rehabilitation facility for approximately 9 years. He has 15 years of experience managing complex and mostly elderly patients in similar type of facilities. Additionally, he has served as medical director of various home healthcare companies with more than 11 years of experience collaborating, leading, and managing medical team members including therapists, nurses, and doctors. He has extensive experience managing patients in and out of the hospital. He now dedicates his practice to prevent patients from needing such facilities and services.
Since 2014 he has served as the lead Family Physician for Jesuit High School Athletics (his alma mater). A dedicated teaching physician, Dr. Shirmohammad is on the faculty at Florida State University College of Medicine and University of South Florida College of Medicine. He continues to volunteer to teach students that are working towards other degrees in medicine as well. He is even found in the classrooms of well-respected highm schools as a guest lecturer discussing careers in medicine.
Dr. Shirmohammad brings a wide variety of community and professional experiences to his patients. He has participated in local Special Olympics, performed physicals for area high schools and served as Chair of Gulfside Hospice Hike for Hospice. As the chair for Hike for Hospice he helped raise substantial amounts of donations to provide more care to the underprivileged. He has served as a physician for East Coast Medical Network, the NBA pre- Draft Physicals, the PGA Funai Golf Classic, the Walt Disney World Marathon and the University of Central Florida Athletic Department. Dr. Shirmohammad even won the "Making a Difference Award" for developing a youth sports program for an underserved area in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Shirmohammad and Dr. Eldridge were the first concierge medicine physicians in Trinity, Florida and Pasco County in 2007. They were placed on the cover of the St. Petersburg Times twice for the new and different kind of care they were bringing into the area.

Dr. Shirmohammad is passionate about delivering customized healthcare by caring for each patient as an individual with their own unique goals. The concierge model has allowed him to provide care to patients that are happier in a more efficient and pleasant environment. He has experience managing chronic, complex, older patients as well as healthy, happy, youthful patients. His unique blend of experience will allow him to identify and anticipate potential obstacles and overcome them to pave the way for all of his patients to have lon gevity and excellent quality of life.
When not working Dr. Shirmohammad enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and watching his daughters play sports, watching his daughters’ performances, volunteering, teaching, watching college and professional football and basketball, reading and playing basketball.
Dr. Shirmohammad states, “I have endured and accomplished a lot in my life but I am blessed and most proud of the 3 beautiful and strong daughters that I have raised with my lovely wife, Dr. Stephanie Eldridge. I am also blessed to have wonderful parents that helped me reach my calling-to be a man for others!”
